Floydada FFA received a $2,500.00 donation from the Monsanto Fund on behalf of Floyd county farmer Taylor Ross. On Friday, May 13th, students from the 5th and 6th grade along with their teachers went to Six Flags. The students earned the trip by being the top 5 AR Readers in their class. The Accelerated Reader program is a computerized program that tests reading comprehension. The Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference was May 7th and 8th in Boston, Massachusetts. The Website Team consisting of Macee Brotherton, Kaylee Morren and Remington Ricketts placed 10th. Macee Brotherton placed 2nd place in Admin Support Research Project. A.B. Duncan held an Art Show on Tuesday, May 3rd. Thank you to Mrs. Pace for her hard work to make this fun event possible. The students were able to take their families around the building to see many of their art projects hanging in the hall ways. This was a fun way present all that has been accomplished in art class this year. Families also gathered in the cafeteria to work on a family art activity.
