FISD students won second place in Current Events and Issues at the Red Raider Classic UIL Meet held last Saturday, January 14th. The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, January 12th and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. Many FISD students participated in the Floyd Count Stock Show on January 5th - 7th. The stock show couldn't happen without the youth who help set up and tear down for the show, run the concession stand, work as ring help, serve the buyers meal and collect money for the sale, not to mention the prepping and showing of their show animals.
