The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, January 16 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. December students and staff for A.B.Duncan student recognized were Kaylee Hernandez and Rocco Falcon grade 3. The Floydada Junior High Students of the month were Ilan Lopez and Carisa Fernandez, grade 8. The Floydada High School students recognized were Ruth Ramirez, grade 12 and Devin Reyes, grade 9(not pictured). The elementary teacher selected this month was Laura Nutt. The secondary teacher of the month was Nancy Trevino. Congratulations to each of these students and employees and thank you for your hard work.
