The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Monday, March 18 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. The Floydada Junior High Student of the month is Armando Cruz, grade 7. The Floydada High School students recognized are Garrett Hobbs, Luke Holcombe, Jose Lira, Brandon Marquez, Lindsey Marquez, Holley Monroe, Allison Muniz, Izel Pacheco, Allison Orr, Kimberlee Ramirez, Dylan Ramos, Kylie Ricketts, Ethien Rodriquez, Yelena Serrato, Audrey Strange, and Anthony Suarez . The elementary educator selected this month was Penny Giesecke, Librarian. The secondary employee of the month was Jonathon Ramirez, 7thELA.
