Duncan's Character Counts Pep Rally was held on Friday, Nov 12. These students were chosen by their teachers or received tickets for displaying respect throughout the 6 weeks. Included are character counts leaders from 5th and 6th grade, flag bearers from each grade level, perfect attendance bicycle winners, college t-shirt winners, Jump for George winners, and consolation winners from the ticket drawing.

AB Duncan Elementary is participating in the Character Counts program again this year. Each 6 weeks we will be celebrating the successes of our students and their good character choices with a pep rally. At this pep rally, we recognize our students with perfect attendance, our winners of the college t-shirt Wednesday winners, our Character Counts leaders, and our students with good character from each grade level. This 6 weeks we have been learning about being trustworthy. This requires us to be reliable, dependable, and honest! Thanks to the Rotary Club of Floydada for donating the bicycles for our Perfect Attendance drawing and Amy Kellison with Crossroads Mental Health Services for donating money for our Jump for George prizes.
