The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, January 10 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. The A.B.Duncan students recognized were Liliana Lewis, Emily Martinez and Keiana Garza, grade 2. The Floydada Junior High Students of the month were Dalles Hernandez and Janeisi Garza, grade 7. The Floydada High School students recognized are Brandy Green, grade 10 and Jacob Johnston, grade 11. The elementary educator selected this month was Jennifer Gonzalez, Duncan School Counselor. The secondary employee of the month was Kelly Pachiano,Tip Room and Social Media Coordinator (not pictured). Congratulations to each of these students and employees and thank you for your hard work.

The Floydada High School students recognized are Angela Vega, grade 11 and Dylan Ramos, grade 10. The elementary educator selected this month was Elizabeth Bertrand who teaches 6th grade Math at A.B. Duncan Elementary. The secondary employee of the month was Dana Crossland who teaches Nutrition and Fashion classes.
