The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, January 16 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. November students and staff for A.B.Duncan student recognized were Amazjhane Driver and Ixan Pecina grade 4. The Floydada Junior High Students of the month were Sierra Snowden, grade 8 and Jacob Cuellar, grade 7. The Floydada High School students recognized were Andres Mendoza, grade 9 and Alexis Cruz, grade 11(not pictured). The elementary teacher selected this month was Kayla Wells. The secondary teacher of the month was Pam Ricketts. Congratulations to each of these students and employees and thank you for your hard work.
