Floydada ISD is excited to announce that TxElS Parent Portal is being transitioned to ASCENDER Parent Portal on March 1st.
Your login information (user name and password) will remain the same. You will still be able to access Parent Portal through our website: www.floydadaisd.esc17.net
You will see many enhancements throughout the new Parent Portal system.
Besides a new modern look, one of the enhancements you will notice is the ability to view your child's immunization record. There is also a link to the Texas Department of Health website to help you determine what immunizations your child needs for school.
In addition, at the end of each six weeks and each 3 week reporting period, the district will be able to publish your child's report card for you to view and print (No more lost report cards!). When it is published you will see a button on the summary page for you to click that says "Report Card" or "Interim Progress Report".
We will also be able to add other links from time to time as needed. We can provide links to certain documents making it easier for you to get help with Parent Portal, view lunch menus or get to the FISD website, just to name a few. As we transition and become more familiar with the program, we hope to be able to keep things updated quickly and make items readily available to you.
If you should have any issues with this transition, please call your child's campus. In the event they are unable to help you, they will contact a Parent Portal administrator to help you.
