The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, December 13 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. The A.B.Duncan students recognized were Raul Corado Vanegas, Grade 3 and Mary Degollado, grade 3. The Floydada Junior High students of the month were Sierra Snowden, grade 7 and Edgar Cervera, grade 7. The Floydada High School students recognized are Triana Adams, grade 12 and Monty Stambaugh, grade 12. The elementary educator selected this month was Kenya Diaz who teaches 3rd grade Math at A.B. Duncan Elementary. The secondary employee of the month was Laura Zepeda who teaches Algebra I and 9thGrade Math classes. Congratulations to each of these students and employees and thank you for your hard work.
