The Floydada I.S.D. Board met on Thursday, February 14 and recognized the following students and staff for their efforts to make education the best it can be. Each month the staff selects students that exemplify education at its best and those students are recognized at the monthly school board meeting. The A.B.Duncan students recognized were Meranda Garcia, Paulina Ramirez, and Israel Cervera, grade 1. The Floydada Junior High Students of the month were Tatum Glasscock, and Izaih Alvarado , grade 8. The Floydada High School students recognized are Monty Stambaugh grade 12, Arianna Diaz grade12, Ruth Ramirez grade 11, Kaylea Britt grade10, and Natalee Romero grade10. The elementary educator selected this month was Sarah Jo Graves, 5th ELA. The secondary employee of the month was Sandra Bradley, 8th Social Studies.
