After they heard about the Robotics Tin Man Competition we are entered in, these gentlemen contributed to their projects. Junior Noah Fierros submitted a photograph to Rep. Jodey Arrington’s office for the annual Congressional Art Competition. His photo was selected as the winner and will be put on display in the U.S. Capitol. He will travel to Washington, D.C., on June 25 to see his work hung alongside other winning entries from across the nation, representing Texas’ 19th Congressional District. #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️

Floydada Collegiate Attendance Congratulations to Andrea Arredondo and Peyton Noland! They were the winners of our Nike Dunk shoe drawing for the fifth six weeks. All students with 96% attendance or better were entered in a drawing. We randomly chose a winner from high school and a winner from junior high. Evan Johnson, an associate attorney with Sprouse Shrader Smith PLLC and Floydada alumni, spoke to our Floydada seniors today about “Adulting.” Ms. Johnson touched on many topics including voting and health care, and also opened up the floor to a question and answer session.
