Our Girls Powerlifting Team competed in Ralls, TX yesterday and did an outstanding job! Isabel Johnston, Clarissa Garcia, and Aphrodite Aguilar each earned 1st place in their weight divisions, while Kaydin Logsdon brought home a 2nd place finish in her division. The Floydada Boys’ Powerlifting Team competed Thursday night in Ralls and had multiple top-five finishes, including Luis Lopez, who brought home first place in his weight class! 🥇 #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️🏋️

💚 Attendance Matters at FCISD 💚 Congratulations to Iann Perez and Jazlyn Delafuente! They were the winners of our Nike Dunk shoe drawing for the third six weeks. All students with 96% attendance or better were entered in a drawing. We randomly chose a winner from high school and a winner from junior high. Senior Night Information

Junior, Noah Fierros has a front-row seat to history today! Noah is at AT&T Stadium in Arlington covering the Jayton 1A Division II state championship for The Texas Spur, a newspaper connected with the Floyd County Hesperian-Beacon. Throughout the day, he will be sharpening his photography skills and networking with professional media members from across the state. His photos will be featured on the first page of the paper. This is an amazing opportunity to gain real-world experience! #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️📷
