Stitched With Pride: Jasmine Completes Her First Quilt
Jasmine Flores is celebrating the completion of her very first quilt after learning the art of quilting in Mrs. Bradley’s sewing class.
With guidance from her teacher, Jasmine cut and designed colorful fabric squares before sewing them together into a patchwork top. She then machine quilted the layers, carefully finishing her project from start to finish.
“I’m so proud of it,” Jasmine shared excitedly.
Mrs. Bradley praised Jasmine’s focus and creativity throughout the process. The finished quilt is a bright reminder of her hard work — and a sign of many more sewing projects to come.

Floydada Collegiate Attendance
Congratulations to Jonathan Jimenez and Jayden Aleman! They were the winners of our Nike Dunk shoe drawing for the fourth six weeks.
All students with 96% attendance or better were entered in a drawing. We randomly chose a winner from high school and a winner from junior high. Students with great attendance have a chance to win every six weeks.

Attention HS and JH Parents and Guardians -
Tomorrow we will be administering our 6-8 reading, English I, and English II interim assessments.
Students need to be at school on time, with a charged laptop, and ready to do their best. These scores will help determine tutorials before the STAAR test and help guide our summer school plans.
Seniors will be going on a college tour of Wayland Baptist University, and juniors have activities planned for them as well.
After testing we will be on our 10:00 start schedule.
Thank you for your support of your child's education!

Floydada Collegiate Spanish
Last week in Spanish class, students explored culture through creativity as they made their own Ojos de Dios (God’s Eyes)!
The Ojo de Dios is a traditional Mexican folk art craft originally created by the Huichol people. It symbolizes protection, blessings, and good wishes. Today, the Ojo de Dios is both a meaningful cultural symbol and a beautiful handmade craft that celebrates Mexican heritage, creativity, and tradition. As students wrapped colorful yarn around wooden sticks, they learned about its cultural meaning, history, and importance in Mexican traditions.
Hands-on learning helps our students connect language with culture — and they did an amazing job!
¡Aprendiendo con arte y cultura!
