Spanish Club Celebrates Día de los Muertos! Our Spanish Club members gathered today for their monthly lunch meeting, enjoying delicious homemade chili, crackers, and refreshing drinks while spending time together! After lunch, students got creative by painting wooden Día de los Muertos ofrendas. These beautiful creations will soon be displayed alongside colorful sugar skulls designed and decorated by our Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 students! Learning by doing in Mrs Bone’s Ag mechanics class. Our students are building valuable skills, gaining hands-on experience, and learning the art of welding! Migrant PAC Fall Fiesta Information

Mrs. Bradley’s Class Enjoys Field Day and Pumpkin Ranch Adventure! On October 8, Mrs. Bradley’s class enjoyed a fun-filled day of activities at Frenship ISD Field Day and Assiter Pumpkin Ranch! At Field Day, students participated in a variety of exciting games and activities, including field bowling, corn hole, scooter races, beach ball volleyball, frisbee throwing, and tug of war. Everyone had the opportunity to stay active, try new activities, and enjoy time with friends. The adventure continued at Assiter Pumpkin Ranch, where students had the chance to feed and pet the animals, take a ride on the pumpkin train, and explore the ranch. To make the day extra special, each student got to choose a small pumpkin to take home as a souvenir. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, learning, and memorable experiences! Mrs. Bradley and her students returned to school with smiles, pumpkins, and happy memories of a fantastic fall outing.

Thank you to Dr. Trevino for coming to talk to our future educators! It really means a lot coming from you! Dr. Trevino offered amazing insight and great teaching strategy while talking to us about how rules and expectations transfer to professionalism in the workplace. THANK YOU!!!

Floydada Collegiate Attendance Congratulations to Jayvien Machado and Eyden Crawford! They were the winners of our shoe drawing for the first six weeks. All students with 96% attendance or better were entered in a drawing. We randomly chose a winner from high school and a winner from junior high. 🏀 Physics in Action! 🏀 Our physics students hit the gym to put their learning into action! Students explored the vertical and horizontal velocity of a basketball shot and used physics to determine the angle and initial velocity needed to make the perfect shot. #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️
