Secondary campus will be STAAR testing over the next few weeks as follows:
April 25...6-8 ELAR and 9th English I EOC
April 26...10th English II EOC
April 27....English I and II EOC retests and makeups
May 2...8th Science and 9th Biology EOC
May 3...8th Social Studies
May 4..10th US History
May 10..6-8 Math and Algebra I EOC
All tests begin at 8:00 a.m. Please be on time and please have your child charge their laptop overnight before each test!

Congratulations to Ariel Alvarado for earning her Phlebotomy Certification through South Plains College.
Congratulations to the 9th Grade Class for becoming Mental Health First Aiders! They have completed a 6 week training sponsored by Central Plains Center. These students learned about mental health, the impact of mental health challenges on teens, how to help a friend in crisis, and how to seek help for themselves and others. They also learned signs and symptoms to be aware of, as well as the importance of resiliency! We are proud of their hard work!
The baseball game on Friday the 28th of April is being moved to Friday the 21st of April. There will be only one Varsity game on the 21st. Game time is 8:00 PM. We will honor our seniors on the 21st.

GOOD LUCK to our KidWind Wind Energy teams and sponsors! They are competing at the CEN KidWind contest in Sweetwater today! Students attended a workshop, then had to build a wind energy system for competition! Thanks to Ms. Hinson and Ms. Munguia for sponsoring. Good luck today!
