This is a message from Floydada Collegiate ISD. Due to the ongoing power outage at high school, we must dismiss the secondary campus. We will begin holding kids in the new gym on the South Side of the secondary campus to be picked up. If they ride the bus, buses will still run at regular time. Duncan will remain open as power has been restored to that part of town. We will start ushering students to the gym at 12:45. Again, please pick up students from the south side of the building near the gym and front office. Thank you.

Title III SSA Family Engagement Event
The Whirlwinds take on Bovina tonight at 8 pm in Littlefield. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Passes are accepted. We are the visiting team.
If you plan to attend, the Monterey vs. Amarillo girls game starts at 6 pm. Please do not arrive before the end of the first quarter of that game. If you do, then the admission you pay will be credited to the Monterey and Amarillo schools. Go Winds!
Lady Winds Game Day!
The baseball game on Monday has been moved from 4 o'clock to 11 o'clock.
Congratulations to Our FCISD band students. They will Advance to State Solo and Ensemble in Austin in May.
On Friday, February 17, Floydada band students competed at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition. All students performed admirably. Devin Reyes and Lailah Burks, in particular, earned Division 1 ratings on their memorized grade 1 four mallet solos and have advanced to the State UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest. This is a huge accomplishment, and a testament to their individual work as growing musicians. They will compete in Austin, TX at the end of May.

Tatum Glasscock and Kaley Garza were named recipients of the Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association Academic All-State Honors for the 22-23 school year.
Tatum and Kaley join an elite statewide group recognized for their academic achievements, while providing a vital role to the athletics and sports medicine programs.
They were selected among 17 other seniors across the Lubbock, Amarillo and Midland/Odessa regions.
