The safety of your child and all children in our school as well as the safety of the school staff and support personnel is very important to us. In order to maintain a safe environment for our children to study and learn, it is necessary that we practice our emergency and crisis response plans by having drills designed to exercise our procedures.
Our first drill will be a lockdown drill on Tuesday, August 30th. Please see class dojo or look for the letter sent home in your child's HERO binder today for more information regarding these drills.

The secondary campus will release today and every Friday at 3:40. Our varsity Whirlwinds will play in Ralls today at 7 pm.
Floydada Collegiate ISD's phone are down due to an area-wide outage. Our provider is working to restore service as soon as possible.
Tomorrow 8/25 the secondary campus will be on a regular schedule. Jh will begin at 7:50 and high school tardy bell is 8:00 am. All students will be released at 4:10 pm. At the end of 3 weeks, students can earn an exemption from tutorials if all classes are 70 or above. High school will be a later start 8:35 and junior high will get out earlier(3:27). Please encourage your students to keep their grades up and be here every day.

The secondary school at FCISD will begin classes tomorrow morning at 8 am. We will run a 1:30 schedule for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Faculty will work until 3 pm. We are excited to see our students!
Floydada prayer warriors prayed for every staff member and every building Sunday. So many blessings to start our year. What a wonderful community I get to live in. I am so Thankful for all of you.
