Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Department of Psychiatry, visited our Junior High and High School students to talk about suicide prevention, how to ask for help, and how to support friends who may be struggling. Our junior high UIL students enjoyed healthy snacks that were provided by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. This was in conjunction with the Strong Teens, Healthy School Research Project the 6th graders are participating in this year. #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️

Good Luck to the FFA Area 1 Champion Ag Advocacy Team as they travel to their State Competition at Sam Houston State University. Attention Floydada Collegiate Junior High and High School Parents!

8th Grade College Prep Workshop Floydada 8th graders had the opportunity to meet SPC college professors and learn what to expect from dual credit classes they may choose to take in high school next year. Students explored what online courses look like, learned how class modules are organized, and received tips for success as future dual-enrolled students at FCHS and South Plains College. This workshop is another step Floydada Collegiate ISD is taking to ensure our students are informed, prepared, and set up for success.
