Program Spotlight: Floydada Collegiate ISD P-TECH Program and the FCISD TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) Program
We are proud to offer our students several pathways toward degrees and/or certifications. While some students want to leave our community and attend their college of choice, some students would rather stay closer to home and utilize our district's P-TECH program to work toward their degree. Whether a student chooses to go off to college or enter our local program, either choice will hopefully result in a student earning their degree. However, utilizing our program is at NO COST to students or their families and results in the same degree that can be earned by attending college elsewhere!
The Texas Association of Future Educators or TAFE (pronounced "taffy") is a co-curricular statewide non-profit (501 c3) student organization created to allow young men and women an opportunity to explore the teaching profession. Educators help shape all other professions by educating young men and women who will go on to become doctors, lawyers, nurses, police officers, etc. We are proud of students who choose education as their profession!
