Entry fee for baseball playoffs versus New Home will be $3 for students and $5 for adults.
FCISD will have a 1:30 release on Friday to allow people plenty of time to get to the softball or baseball playoff games. The Lady Winds will play Sanford Fritch at West Plains High School (10576 Arden Road, Amarillo, Texas) at 4:30 pm on Friday. The Whirlwinds will play New Home at Lubbock High Westerner Field (located on University Ave. and the North Loop) at 5 pm on Friday.
2023 Spring Concert
The 2023 Spring Concert will be in the Floydada Performing Arts Center Auditorium at 6pm. The band banquet, for the High School band students and families will be in the cafeteria following the concert. There will be some extra meal tickets available to sell at the door, but not many. Please make sure to contact a booster officer to purchase a ticket in advance. Meal tickets are $14. The concert is free and open to the public.
Parking is best on the east side on N White street (the one way street).

Whirlwind Baseball will play New Home on Friday May 5th at Lubbock High Westerner Field. We will play 2 games on Friday. 1st game starts at 5:00 PM. 2nd game will follow. If a 3rd game is needed, we will play Saturday at 2:00 PM. We will be in the third base dugout and be the home team for the 1st and 3rd games. The field is located on University Ave between Marsh Sharp freeway and the North Loop. Just north of Cavazos Middle School.
Due to the softball playoff game on May 5th, we will need to move our
College Signing Day to Tuesday, May 9th at 2:00 pm in the High School Auditorium.
