Floydada CISD Performing Arts
While in Washington for an event with his Dad, FCISD student, Wesley Crowe, was able to attend a "Coffee with Cornyn" event the senator hosts on Thursday mornings. He was also able to be there the morning of the State of the Union Address.
The Floydada flag that Wesley and Senator Cornyn are pictured with was donated by the Whirlwind Athletics Booster Club, and was later presented to Rep. Jodey Arrington's office. Thanks for representing Floydada Collegiate ISD, Wesley!

Duncan ACE March newsletter!
At the Whirlwinds' season opening baseball game on February 19th, the ceremonial first pitch was thrown by Ryan Crowe, Director of the Floydada Development Center. The center, now in its twenty-second year, is dedicated to improving the lives of Floydada and its residents. The development center recently funded a complete renovation for the outfield fencing for Watson Field, with construction set to begin this summer.
Crowe was joined by Development Center intern and office manager, Donovan Rocha, a 2023 FCHS graduate and two-year letterwinner for the Whirlwinds. Thank you to the Floydada EDC for their support!
Congratulations again to Yaritza Miranda and Angel Olvera for winning Nike Dunks for great attendance! Students with perfect attendance earn a chance each week for our drawing each six weeks.
Our 5th six weeks drawing will run from Feb 19- April 5. #whirlwindpride 💚🌪️
