Dr. Judy Jarrett from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock provided 2 kits from Positive Action, a leading SEL program for Pre-K-12. The Positive Action philosophy, as stated on their web page https://www.positiveaction.net, is based on the intuitive philosophy that we feel good about ourselves when we do positive actions.
The Counselor Kit is designed as a resource for the school counselor to use as they assist and support individuals, small groups, large groups, classroom and families. The Conflict Kit teaches how to use a “Conflict Resolution Plan” to resolve conflicts. FCISD wants to thank Dr. Jarrett and Texas Tech Health Sciences kits for these kits.
