A.B. Duncan first day of school information:
• Parents will be able to walk their child to the classroom on the first day of school. Parents are also welcome to use the drop off line on the south side of the building.
• After the first day all parents dropping off children will utilize the drop off line on the south side of the building following the same procedure as last year.
• Drop off time begins at 7:15 and breakfast in the classroom begins at 7:45. If your child plans on eating breakfast at school, please arrive by 7:45.
• Dismissal time is 3:45. Please check your email for a message from School Dismissal Manager. The system has updated and existing users need to uninstall the old app from their phone before installing the new app. We want your dismissal process to run as smoothly and quickly as possible.
• We will have a Boo-hoo Breakfast/Pastries for Parents after morning arrival on Monday in the Duncan Cafeteria. All parents are invited to attend this meeting to receive help with School Dismissal Manager and receive information about our new HERO Binders for parent communication.
• Water fountains will remain closed to help prevent the spread of germs and keep students healthy, so please send a water bottle to school with your child.

FCISD will be conducting emergency response training at the secondary campus this morning. Please do not be alarmed at the police presence at the building, they are participating in the training exercises.

The first Band Booster meeting of the 2021-22 Academic Year will be held on Thursday, July 29 at 6:00 PM in the Band Hall. Please enter through the Northeast Performing Arts Center Doors. If there is only one meeting a parent can attend all year we highly encourage it to be this first meeting. See you then!

!MINI CHEER CAMP 2021!
FCHS Cheerleaders are excited to host a mini cheer camp this summer, Aug 2nd-4th at the new high school gym!
If you would like to pre-register, forms will be available at the high school front office. The office is open Mon - Thurs from 8 am - 3 pm only.
The cost of the camp is $35 per camper. Please turn in correct amount or make checks payable to FCHS Cheer.
