Whirlwind Band Concert Update
After speaking with parents, students, and administration, we have decided to reschedule the Spring Concert for May 18, Tuesday, at 6:30 PM to accommodate our superior Lady Winds as they compete in the Playoffs. Go Whirlwinds! See y'all Tuesday evening!
Attention Duncan Parents, Due to the softball playoff schedule and 1:30 dismissal on Friday, we are adjusting our awards assembly schedule and kindergarten graduation times. Please note that Kindergarten graduation and Pre-K awards have been moved to Monday, May 17th, and the times for 1st-5th grade awards assembly on Friday have changed. Thank you for understanding!

Due to the Lady Winds Softball Playoff Game on Thursday, May 6, the Secondary Campus will dismiss at 3:40.
School will dismiss at 3:40 tomorrow, Thursday May 6th to allow anyone wanting to attend the Lady Winds playoff series, which begins in Plainview at 5:00 pm.

Late yesterday afternoon the TEA and UIL agreed to let softball and baseball play on state testing days. This has allowed Floydada and Sanford Fritch to return to their original plan on their matchup.

LEARN Inc. is a non-profit educational organization established as a legal entity in July of 1966 for the sole purpose of aiding financially deprived students to obtain funds to pursue postsecondary education and or training. Learn is funded through the Dept of Education. Irene Mesquias, from LEARN, comes to Floydada once a month to work with Seniors on getting paperwork prepared for college. FCHS appreciates Irene and all of her hard work she does for the FCHS Seniors. Today, on her last visit of the year, Irene gave out goody bags to the Srs.
McHam earned a pizza today because she has the most AR points in 5th grade with 126.7 points. Way to go Bailey!
