Whirlwind Baseball wins their season opener against Dimmitt by a score of 10-7. Great job Whirlwinds.
Aaron Hamilton, one of the admissions counselors from West Texas A&M, gave a presentation to the Junior class. Aaron is an advocate for higher education. He discussed the benefits of West Texas A&M. He spoke on the different aspects of college life that need to be considered when choosing a college and what WTAM had to offered.

Monday, February 24, Varsity Winds Baseball will begin at 4:00. The JV will follow.
Floydada High and Junior High School construction work is progressing!

Due to inclement weather, the games have been adjusted for Thursday, February 20.
Lady Winds Softball will play at 12:00 and 3:00
2020 CHEERLEADER/MASCOT TRYOUTS:
Just a reminder that all cheerleader/mascot candidates must turn in their applications this Friday by 4:00 pm! Candidates may still pick up an application either with Ms. Pesina or the front office at Duncan.
High School and Junior High candidates may drop off their application in Ms. Pesina’s classroom or front office at the high school. Sixth grader candidates may turn their application in to the front office at Duncan.
Parent/Candidate meeting will be held Monday February 24th in the FHS Library at 6:30 pm.
