In order to continue our support for our Boys basketball run in the playoffs, we have moved our games from Friday February 26th to Saturday February 27th.

Winds will be the home team.
All tickets will be $5.00 and sold at Central Office with Evie.
Tickets can be bought with cash, credit or debit card.
NO tickets will be sold at the gate.

Last day to sign up for Baseball and Softball is Thursday, February 25th at 7pm at the Floyd County Library.
Registration Forms can be picked up at the Floyd County Library from now until Thursday during regular business hours.
Ages 4 year olds thought 15 year olds are welcome to play.

The baseball game on Monday has been moved to Tuesday, Feb. 23, here in Floydada vs Dimmitt. Varsity @ 4:00 and JV to follow.
Hello Duncan Parents! We would like to inform you that Spring pictures and class group pictures are scheduled for next Tuesday, March 2nd. We will send home order forms with your child this week, so please be sure and check your child's backpack for the forms!
Cheerleader Tryout Application Update:
Considering all the weather and cancelations we have had this week, we will be extending the due date for the cheerleading applications until Wednesday, February 24th.
This date will also be the day we hold the parent meeting. It will take place in the High school library at 6:30 pm. Applications can be turned in before the meeting.
I hope for no future rescheduling.
Tryouts are to be held on March 3rd.

After consultation with area natural gas and energy officials, FCISD will not have school tomorrow. While the energy crisis has improved, our area and state needs to continue to conserve as much energy as possible in order to allow things to fully stabilize. Have a safe weekend!
South Plains Community Action
We will be having our application process, which is called Round Up, on May 4th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and a 2nd Round Up on August 5th from. 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Round Ups will take place at Duncan.

Lady Winds Softball Update
Due to the continuation of snowfall, the Slaton Tournament has been canceled for this weekend.
The Whirlwinds BI-District Playoff Game is still on as of now.
Floydada vs. Bovina this evening at 7:15 in Littlefield. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.
If you can’t make it to Littlefield, the game will be broadcasted on KFLP radio and the KFLP YouTube channel.
Good morning. Due to additional snow fall, road conditions, and extremely low temperatures this morning, we will err on the side of caution and cancel school today. We apologize for the late notice but the safety of everyone in our school community is of most importance.
Afternoon ACE at Duncan has been cancelled for tomorrow Thursday, February 18th.
FCISD Message: We know this week seemed eerily similar to last spring break when the kids had to stay home for the rest of the school year; however, we will resume school tomorrow. To be on the safe side due to some snow still covering roads and the low temperature tonight, we will have a 10:00 start. We look forward to having everyone in our buildings tomorrow.
Winds Baseball Update
Baseball Scrimmage has been moved from Friday, February 19 to Saturday Feb. 20 at Lubbock Roosevelt starting at 12:00.

Good afternoon. Due to continued low temperatures, additional snow fall, and the need to conserve energy, Floydada Collegiate ISD will cancel school on Wednesday, February 17th. We should be able to resume classes on Thursday, February 18th. Please stay safe and warm.
Due to weather and cancelations, we have been invited to participate in the Slaton/Roosevelt Tournament this week.
Our games will be played in Roosevelt on Friday and Saturday February 19-20
